The flexibility of boards based on microcontrollers
XBIT designs products that are based on microcontrollers. We not only design small boards with very cheap microcontrollers, but also develop drivers and software for complex boards based on the last RISC and SDRAM.
We design boards where software can be updated from remote workstations, this technique is useful for prototype units as it reduces the need for technicians on the field.
Moreover we design friendly and flexible user interfaces that are based on economical touch screen displays.

SOFTWARE
Reliable products in short time
XBIT’s extensive experience in specification, design and verification of embedded software or firmware enables the delivery of reliable products in a relatively short time.
The processes to develop and verify software are planned in conjunction with the client; they are based on the safety requirements of the implemented functions and on the budget allocated to the project.
We usually add built in test functions and fault logs to ensure fast problem solving. Wherever it is possible, code from tested products is used, new software is developed with tested processes that avoid the most common bugs.
Software verification is based on test cases and analysis processes.

COMUNICATIONS
The key function for new projects
XBIT designs communication links based on commonly expected standards.
For aircraft units we manage ARINC429 and MIL-STD-1553 links, for building automation we implement communications based on ETHERNET with web server and faulty advertising by email, for heat meters we manage M-BUS, for industrial automation we implement Profibus.
